PEAK MEDIA, WASHINGTON DC – Tensions in the Middle East reach an unprecedented boiling point. The President of the United States, Donald Trump, issued the most extreme threat in the history of modern diplomacy by stating that all corners of Iran would be “destroyed” if a peace deal failed to be reached on Wednesday (08/04).

In a tense press conference at the White House, Trump confirmed that the US military had prepared plans for a massive attack targeting the country’s vital infrastructure.

Threats to Civil Infrastructure

In a departure from the usual norms of international conflict, Trump has publicly stated that American military targets include non-military public facilities.

This escalation was triggered by the deadlock in negotiations involving mediators from Egypt, Pakistan and Türkiye. Iran reportedly rejected the mediator’s proposal for a 45-day ceasefire.

Even though Tehran had put forward a counter-proposal as a middle way, Trump considered the offer to have no significant bargaining value.
