SABACIREBON – Iran reiterated his stance amid rising tensions with United States of America. The Tehran government stated that it was ready to mobilize all national capacities to safeguard the country’s strategic and security interests.
This statement was made by the Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abbas Araghchiin a telephone conversation with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pakistan, Ishaq Dar.
In the communication, Araghchi assessed Washington’s latest steps – which include threats to Iranian ports, coastal areas and ships – as an indication that the US is not showing a serious commitment to diplomacy.

In the statement published PressTVAraghchi also accused Washington of repeatedly reneging on understandings that had been established in the past year. He mentioned again the military incident that occurred in the middle of the 2025 negotiation process, as well as the latest violation of the Pakistan-mediated ceasefire agreement.
According to him, this series of actions reflects bad faith and shows inconsistencies in the US diplomatic approach. Therefore, Iran emphasized that it would not remain silent if pressure continued to increase.
On the other hand, diplomatic dynamics are still ongoing. An official White House revealed plans for the visit of the US Vice President JD Vance with a special envoy Steve Witkoff And Jared Kushner to Islamabad. The meeting was intended as part of a new round of negotiations with Iran.

US President Donald Trump stated that the dialogue agenda was scheduled to take place on April 21 and potentially continue until the following day in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad.
Meanwhile, the situation in the region remains volatile. Global energy distribution channels through Strait of Hormuz has experienced significant disruption since the escalation of the conflict between Iran and US-led forces along with Israel at the end of February.
This condition was made worse by the naval blockade policy that Washington imposed on Iran in mid-April.
