SABACIREBON – The state visit was carried out by King Charles III to the United States with the main agenda of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries. He was accompanied by Queen Camilla in a series of official visits.
The arrival of the British royal couple on Monday local time took place via Andrews Military Base which is located nearby Washington DC. They were officially welcomed by top United States officials, including Chief of Protocol Monica Crowley and British Ambassador to the US Christian Turner.
After a welcoming procession involving United States Army personnel, the royal entourage continued their journey towards White House. There, King Charles III and Queen Camilla were received by the President Donald Trump with the First Lady Melania Trump.

Another important agenda will take place on Tuesday, when King Charles III is scheduled to deliver a speech to members of the United States Congress. This moment is a historic event, considering that the last time a member of the British royal family addressed Congress was in 1991 by Queen Elizabeth II.
