THE THOUGHTS OF THE PEOPLE OF SULTENG – The world of international law is once again forced to swallow a bitter pill which is very suspicious. Judge Shin Jong-oh, the legal warrior who had just set a milestone for justice by heavily sentencing the wife of the former ruler of South Korea, Kim Keon-hee, was found tragically dead on the terrace of the fifth floor of Seoul High Court.

This death is not just sad news; This is a harsh blow to public reason who saw how “timely” death came to the judge, exactly eight days after he dared to double the former First Lady’s sentence to four years in prison.

The official narrative indeed quickly handed over a piece of paper that read, “I left of my own accord,”a short sentence that seemed designed to close the door to speculation. However, for those who understand how cruel the labyrinth of power is, the absence of mention of the most crucial case in the history of his career in these records actually triggers greater suspicion.

How could a judge who showed extraordinary integrity by overturning the acquittal in the Chanel bag cases and Deutsch Motors stock manipulation, suddenly choose to end his life without any logical reason in the place where he served?

The public deserves to ask: is this truly a personal decision, or is it a “moral execution” subtly designed to silence courage? Judge Shin is the figure who undermined Kim Keon-hee’s impunity, proving that gratification of luxury bags worth millions of Won and dirty capital market games are not something that can be forgiven.

Tragically, after he stood up to defend justice for the people, he was found lying lifeless, while those he sentenced still had access to power capable of shaking the pillars of justice.

This tragic death in Seocho-dong is a red signal for law enforcement around the world. If a top judge can just end up having to punish the core circle of power, then justice is in a state of emergency.

Don’t let this case be buried with the judge’s body. The blood on the courthouse terrace is a challenge for all of us to continue to speak out: that truth must not die even though its messenger is gone. Justice must continue, even though it has to go through dark alleys full of threats.***
