CIREBON NEWS – Pro-Iran Lebanese Hezbollah fighters again attacked Israel by firing 15 rockets. The attack that occurred last night panicked residents of northern Israel.
The air raid sirens activated several times, prompting people to take cover. Hezbollah’s rocket launches were carried out consecutively in close proximity, according to Israel’s Channel 12.
It was previously reported that Israeli forces destroyed the launcher Hezbollah used to fire rockets, and intercepted Hezbollah “launches” from southern Lebanon.

Al Jazeera Arabic also reported that Israeli forces destroyed houses in the Marjayoun district in southern Lebanon. The Jewish army forcibly expelled Lebanese citizens from several cities.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has confirmed that Israeli ground forces have crossed the Litani River, about 30 km (20 miles) north of the Israel-Lebanon border, marking a significant expansion of Israel’s invasion.
Along with the Israeli army’s ground push, relentless Israeli airstrikes have hit towns across southern Lebanon, including Abbasiyeh, Deir Qanoun en-Nahr, and the nearby town of Tyre, resulting in numerous civilian casualties.

The Israeli army has expanded its forced displacement campaign, issuing immediate orders for people to evacuate seven additional towns in southern Lebanon – some of which lie up to 40 km (25 miles) north of the Israel-Lebanon border.
This major military escalation occurred despite a pre-existing ceasefire that began on April 17 and was recently extended for 45 days on May 17, following US-mediated talks between Israeli and Lebanese officials.
Visual investigations and satellite data analysis indicate that Israeli forces have been involved in the systematic destruction of entire border neighborhoods in Lebanon.

In late April, legal experts warned that the Israeli operation appeared aimed at creating a permanently uninhabited buffer zone on Lebanon’s border with Israel.
Hundreds of thousands of Lebanese civilians have been displaced since the Israeli offensive began in early March. Some 40 hospitals in the south were forced to close, and leading aid organizations warned they may have to withdraw from the region due to deteriorating security conditions.
