PAPUAN PEOPLE – Security police in Mecca, Saudi Arabia arrested three Indonesian citizens (WNI).
The three people who were arrested in a room are suspected of having committed fraud by placing advertisements containing inappropriate information and illegal or unofficial Hajj services.
The raid process, which was uploaded to the X @security_gov account on Wednesday, April 29 2026, shows several police cars arriving and immediately rushing into the room.
Confiscate a number of Evidence

Some of what was confiscated included commuting equipment, fake Hajj identity cards and cash.
A number of cash in Rupiah was found in the drawer and several bundles were seen, ranging from IDR 2,000 to IDR 10,000 denominations.
“They have been detained and legal procedures have been taken and then referred to the Public Prosecution,” wrote the statement in another post, quoted on Thursday, April 30 2026.

Asking all citizens living in Saudi Arabia to obey the rules
Furthermore, the police also appealed to everyone to comply with the Hajj regulations and instructions, and immediately report any violations to official officials from the Kingdom.
