LOMBOK NEWS – The President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced a temporary ceasefire agreement with Iran that will last for two weeks.
This agreement includes stopping attacks from both sides as well as plans to reopen the strategic route of the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump made this announcement via the Truth Social platform. He said this decision was taken after communication with Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistan Army Chief of Staff, Asim Munir, who asked for a postponement of military action against Iran.

In his statement, Trump explained that he agreed to suspend attacks, including plans to send destructive forces, on the condition that Iran open the Strait of Hormuz completely, safely and immediately. He emphasized that this agreement is two-way and binding on both parties.
Trump also claimed that the United States had achieved and even exceeded all military targets in the conflict with Iran. This was one of the main reasons behind the decision to temporarily suspend military operations.
