KABARMEGAPOLITAN.com – International Pink Day April 8: fight bullying and discrimination. International Pink Day is designated as an international day against bullying, discrimination, homophobia, transphobia and transmisogyny in cities and towns around the world.

On this day, everyone is invited to celebrate diversity by wearing pink shirts and organizing activities in their workplaces, schools and communities to support the day.

International Pink Day began in Nova Scotia, Canada, when two high school students saw a gay student being bullied because he was wearing a pink shirt.

Both students stepped in today, but they also want to do more to prevent homophobic and transphobic bullying at their school.

In a stroke of creative genius, these two young men decided to buy pink shirts and wear them.

Not only that, a few days later they also had almost everyone at their school come wearing pink, standing in solidarity for anti-bullying.
