CIREBON NEWS – After England and France deployed warships to the Strait of Hormuz, now it is Belgium’s turn to do the same. The NATO members plan to clear sea mines installed by Iran.
Meanwhile, Tehran warned that there would be attacks on anyone who disturbs the Strait of Hormuz. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is ready to launch missiles to repel all enemy warships that dare to enter the Strait of Hormuz.
Belgian Defense Minister Theo Francken told Al Jazeera that his party would be involved in handling the ongoing crisis in the Strait of Hormuz.

According to Theo Francken, there is a joint British-French plan to clear sea mines from the Strait of Hormuz and ensure freedom of navigation for all tankers from various countries.
“European countries have a responsibility to support Gulf countries facing serious Iranian aggression,” said Theo Francken.
The Strait of Hormuz must be reopened so that gas and oil exports can continue. Currently, Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz and blocks enemy ships.

Theo Francken said that European countries have the technical capacity to clear sea mines and can deploy this capability in the Strait of Hormuz.
“We have substantial experience in mine clearance operations, and Iran’s aggression against the Gulf countries must end,” said Theo Francken.
“It is vital that NATO remains united. If we are divided, the alliance will collapse. Dialogue needs to continue, and public criticism among NATO member states must stop,” he concluded.
