NTT PR – The results of the psychological assessment carried out by the Serva Minora HR Development Institute received a positive response from the Head of Sang Timur Catholic Elementary School (SDK) Jakarta, Sister Mathea PIJ. According to him, this assessment is an important step in mapping the potential of human resources (HR) as well as strengthening the quality of educational services in schools.
Specifically to journalists, Sister Mathea revealed that she immediately agreed to carry out the psychological test after receiving an explanation from the Chair of the Sang Timur Foundation, Sister Melani.
“Indeed, Sister Melani (Chair of the Sang Timur Foundation) had previously been given an explanation that we would carry out a psycho test (a series of psychological assessments). I immediately agreed without much argument, because I think this is very good for teachers and employees at elementary schools, which in reality have experienced a decline in the number of students in the last 2 years,” he said.

He explained that during the psychological test on May 16 2026, the Chair of the Sang Timur Foundation emphasized that this activity was not to scare teachers and employees, but rather to help them recognize their own capacities.
“So during the psycho test on May 16 2026, the Chair of the Sang Timur Foundation reminded us that this test was not to scare us but was aimed at seeing our own capacity. Indeed, after taking the test, many teachers were curious about the results, including me. However, after hearing that the Serva Minora Team would come for follow-up, we also prepared a meeting agenda to coincide with RAKER. We consider this a door to a better direction,” he said.
Sister Mathea added that the day before presenting the results of the assessment to teachers and employees, she and the leadership of the Sang Timur Foundation had received an initial overview of the Serva Minora Team.

According to him, many teachers and employees were surprised when the assessment results were presented because they discovered various aspects that they had not been aware of.
“It’s like there’s something they’ve just realized that so far there’s still a lot that’s missing,” he said.
He hopes that the results of this assessment can become the basis for human resource mapping which will have an impact on improving the quality of education and public trust in schools.

“Looking at the results of the assessment, it is certain that there will be HR mapping, hopefully this will have an effect on children and their parents to increase trust in teachers, consolidate cooperation and eliminate individual selfishness,” he said.
In the same place, the Deputy Principal for Curriculum, Martinus Heri Prasetio, said that the results of the assessment provided a clear picture of the condition of human resources in the school environment, thereby facilitating the process of developing teacher capacity.
“The results of the mapping are very important, because the assessment provides comprehensive (complete) data on the talents of our teachers, how to develop our teachers including what their strategies are. So it makes things easier for us,” he explained.
According to Heri, the results of the assessment will become a basis for developing each teacher’s talents optimally according to their respective capacities and potential.
“However, it cannot be denied that we also need support from foundations, teachers, colleagues and parents to collaborate with each other. In other words, we complement each other and cannot act separately,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, one of the counselors at the Serva Minora Institute, Brother Agustinus BHK, assessed that the results of the psychological assessment of teachers and employees of SDK Sang Timur Jakarta showed a step forward in data-based human resource management.

“This is a brave step that they are working to start by organizing human resources with data. From the results of the assessment it will certainly help Sister Mathea as the Principal to personally see where the teachers and employees are going in their development,” he said.
He also assessed that the involvement of teachers and employees in psychological assessments is part of the foundation’s efforts to help each individual recognize their strengths and weaknesses.
“The hope is that every individual who has taken this test will realize that this is a deficiency that must be corrected,” stressed Brother Agustinus. ***
