Cianjurpedia.cok – The Kingdom of Thailand announced that Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati, the eldest daughter of King Maha Vajiralongkorn (Rama X), died at the age of 47 at Chulalongkorn Hospital, Thursday, after being in a coma for many years.
The eldest daughter of the King of Thailand has been hospitalized since December 15, 2022 after losing consciousness due to a heart condition, according to a statement from the Royal Household Bureau on Friday.
Princess Bajrakitiyabha’s condition has worsened since May 21 following a stomach infection due to colitis, which resulted in complications of low blood pressure, heart arrhythmia and blood clots.
Despite close monitoring and medical efforts by royal doctors, the condition of this member of the Thai royal family has not improved. Princess Bajrakitiyabha also died on Thursday, June 11 2026 at 19:48 local time (19:48 WIB).

The King of Thailand has ordered the Royal Household Bureau to hold a funeral ceremony with the highest royal honors.
The princess’s body will lie in state at the Phiman Rattaya Throne Hall within the Royal Palace Complex in Bangkok.
Following the announcement of Princess Bajrakitiyabha’s death, the Royal Household Bureau announced an official schedule for the public, royal family and other parties to pay their last respects.
The general public is invited to participate in a symbolic bathing ceremony before a photo of Princess Bajrakitiyabha at the Sahathai Samakom Pavilion within the Bangkok Royal Palace Complex on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 8:30 to 24:00 local time.

Starting Sunday, June 14 2026, the general public can attend and pay their respects in front of the princess’s photo and sign the condolence book, also at the Sahathai Samakom Pavilion, which is open every day from 8:30 to 16:00 local time.
After the end of the 15-day royal ritual, the general public is invited to pay respects before the princess’s body at the Phiman Rattaya Throne Hall, which can be held from June 27 and will be open from 9:00 to 21:00 every day.***
