JABAR PR – A devastating natural disaster has rocked the Southeast Asia region again. Philippines earthquake todayMonday (8/6/2026), devastated the southern coast of Mindanao. This very strong tectonic shock was recorded as having power Magnitude 7.8triggering extraordinary panic and leaving massive infrastructure damage at various points.
Based on reports Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), the epicenter of the latest earthquake was tracked off the coast of Sarangani Province, to be precise about 26 kilometers from the Kablanan area. Considering this is a type shallow earthquake with a depth of only 55 kilometers, the destructive power felt at the ground surface is very destructive.

Threat of Aftershocks and Emergency Response
