Media Purwodadi – The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah urges Indonesian Hajj pilgrims to save energy and health to face the peak phase of the Hajj pilgrimage.

This step is important to take because the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah wants Indonesian Hajj pilgrims to maintain energy and physical health while in Mecca.

This appeal was officially conveyed by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to ensure that all Indonesian Hajj pilgrims remain fit for the Armuzna procession.

The focus of this preparation is the main key for Indonesian Hajj pilgrims so that their energy and health remain in top condition when undergoing wukuf later.

Moreover, the weather temperatures in the holy land are now very extreme, so Indonesian Hajj pilgrims must prioritize their energy and health for the sake of safety.

Physical and Mental Readiness in Makkah

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Haj, Maria Assegaff, emphasized that the peak of the Hajj really requires strong physical and mental preparation for the Hajj pilgrims.

Therefore, Maria asked the congregation not to force themselves to do many outdoor activities in order to maintain their energy and health.

The air temperature in Mecca has currently reached 42 degrees Celsius, which is very risky for the energy stability and health of the congregation.

“The congregation needs to prioritize health. Save energy, get enough rest, eat on time,” stressed Maria Assegaff when giving an official statement.

Apart from that, adequate water intake is an absolute requirement so that the energy and health of the congregation does not decline due to the hot weather.

As of the 21st operational day, it was recorded that 132,057 Indonesian Hajj pilgrims had landed safely in Saudi Arabia.

A total of 341 groups have departed and now they are being continuously monitored so that each individual’s energy and health remains in good condition.

Officers in the field are always on standby to provide medical direction so that the energy and health of the congregation is not disturbed by excessive fatigue.

From Medina, it was recorded that 92,767 pilgrims had arrived in Mecca and they were asked to immediately rest to restore energy and health.

Meanwhile, 5,766 special Hajj pilgrims have also arrived and received similar instructions about maintaining energy and health.

Risk Mitigation for Elderly Congregants

The Ministry of Haj pays special attention to the elderly group so that they are more alert in managing their energy and health conditions while there.

High risk or risky pilgrims are asked to immediately report if they feel dizzy or weak for faster energy and health treatment.

Don’t wait for your body condition to get worse before seeking medical help because energy stability and health are the main capital towards mabrur.

KBIHU also has a big role in educating the congregation about the importance of discipline in maintaining energy and health during the waiting period.

Education regarding safety and discipline is very crucial so that all pilgrims can save energy and health for the main agenda of the Hajj.

Apart from that, regulations on the movement of pilgrims have been issued as a form of mitigation to protect the energy and health of all Hajj participants.

For the second wave of pilgrims, wearing the ihram cloth from embarkation is an effective strategy to save energy and health when they arrive.

This step was taken so that when they arrived in Jeddah, the pilgrims could immediately focus on their Umrah without having to drain a lot of energy and health at the airport.

Until now, as many as 67 pilgrims are still undergoing treatment at local hospitals to restore their strength and health.

The Ministry of Haj continues to monitor medical developments so that all pilgrims can recover their energy and health before entering the Arafah phase.

Mabrur’s Condolences and Hopes

In the midst of efforts to maintain energy and health, sad news spread about the death of a congregation from Medan City named Kasiani Sigito Tarmidi.

The deceased died on Sunday (10/52026) and to date the total number of pilgrims who have died has reached 24 people due to various physical conditions.

The ministry continues to make maximum efforts so that the number of deaths can be reduced through strict monitoring of the personnel and health of the congregation.

High appreciation is given to the officers who continue to work hard to monitor the stability of the workforce and the health of the congregation in every service sector.

It is hoped that all Indonesian Hajj pilgrims will be able to maintain their energy and health until the end of the series of pilgrimages in the holy land very well. ***
