In his statement, President Prabowo highlighted the close collaboration between the two countries in bilateral cooperation, facing a global situation full of uncertainty, and emphasized the important role of Indonesia and France in maintaining world peace.
“Looking at future world developments, we are confident that in a global situation that is full of uncertainty, full of tension, full of conflict, our two countries can play a positive role. Indonesia will always encourage all efforts to maintain peace. In today’s world, where the earth is getting smaller, because of science and technology. War and conflict cannot possibly bring good to anyone,” said the Head of State.
President Prabowo also welcomed the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries through a comprehensive strategic partnership (CEPA). The Head of State also expressed his appreciation for President Macron’s support for increasing investment and economic cooperation between the two countries, including the formation of the France Indonesia High Level Business Council which is expected to be able to strengthen business relations between Indonesia and France.
“I think this is very important and we will be very happy with the continued participation and presence of French companies in the Indonesian economy, and France as a European leader will continue to play a very important role in the Southeast Asian region,” added President Prabowo.
On global issues, President Prabowo and President Macron also discussed the importance of stability in the Middle East region which is considered to have a direct impact on world energy conditions and global supply chains. The Head of State reiterated Indonesia’s support for a two-state solution as a path to peace in Palestine.

“I am also very happy that France is one of the pioneers in inviting many countries in Europe and the West to support a two-state solution, Palestinian independence. Indonesia remains of the view that it is impossible for there to be peace in the Middle East without a two-state solution, without justice for the Palestinian people,” stressed President Prabowo.
On this occasion, President Prabowo also expressed his appreciation for the warm and honorable welcome given by the French Government to him and the Indonesian delegation. The Head of State also assessed that bilateral relations between Indonesia and France are currently at a very good level.
“Today I was received with such great honor. Thank you once again, I hope that Indonesia and France will continue to move forward with a clear flow and strong commitment,” added the Head of State.
Closing his statement, President Prabowo emphasized that Indonesia views France and Europe as important strategic partners in creating a balanced and peaceful multipolar world order. President Prabowo is optimistic that relations between Indonesia and France will continue to develop with strong commitment from both countries.
“Your Excellency, thank you once again for the kind welcome to me and my delegation, and I am sure that our discussions will bring good results. Indonesia views France and Europe as important world powers, and we want to see the role of France and Europe getting stronger, stronger, so that we can work together in a multipolar world,” concluded the Head of State.
