CIREBON NEWS – President of the United States (US), Donald Trump ensured that the American Navy continued its blockade of all Iranian ports to force Tehran to relinquish its grip on the Strait of Hormuz.

Donald Trump said he was still giving Iran the next few weeks to think about submitting a new proposal for peace. However, the conflict in the Gulf Region must end immediately.

Trump told Fox News: “When you have large amounts of oil flowing through your system… if for any reason these lines are shut down because you can’t get them into containers or ships… what happens is they explode from the inside.”

Trump’s statement was also a threat to Iran, that the impact of the US Navy blockade should not be taken lightly. Iran will experience a funding crisis because it cannot sell its oil production.

Iranian sources said there was a new proposal but it did not address talks on nuclear weapons, and postponed it until the end of the war.

The Iranian government proposed a three-step plan, the sources said. First, the US and Israel will stop attacking Iran and guarantee that they will not continue to do so.

Both sides will then lift their naval blockades – currently Iran is stopping all ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. And the United States stopped ships that had visited Iranian ports or were carrying sanctioned oil.

Both the US and Iran have boarded tankers in recent days as tensions rise in the vital waterway.

Under Iran’s plan, the strait would be reopened under its control.

Nuclear negotiations would be the third and final step in the plan – Iran reportedly wants the US to “recognize its right to enrich uranium”.

“However, the US President does not like the proposal,” an American official told Reuters.

Trump was reportedly unhappy with the deal because it did not address his concerns about the Mullah State’s nuclear ambitions.***
