CIREBON NEWS – Lebanese Hezbollah fighters who support Iran, are again attacking Israeli troops (IDF) in the occupied territories. This time, Hezbollah’s attack was aimed at Taybeh City, on the Lebabon-Israel border.
In the video circulating, Israeli troops can be seen evacuating several soldiers who were injured as a result of the Hezbollah attack. The evacuation process uses a helicopter.
However, before the helicopter flew, two Hezbollah drones attacked the evacuation site. Israeli soldiers scattered to avoid the explosion, while helicopters rushed to fly.

The IDF reported that the Hezbollah attack killed an Israeli soldier. The victim was identified as a young soldier named 19 year old Sergeant Idan Fooks.
In addition to killing Idan Fooks, Hezbollah drones injured six other soldiers, including four seriously, according to the IDF.
The IDF said one of the drones was intercepted, while the other exploded near troops and aircraft without causing further casualties.

Despite a US-mediated ceasefire starting on April 16 and extending until mid-May, Israeli forces have continued military operations north of the Litani River, expanding a ‘buffer zone’ stretching some 10 km into Lebanese territory.
On Sunday, Israel said it had launched artillery and air strikes targeting Hezbollah members and locations it claimed were being used to advance attacks on IDF soldiers.
Lebanon’s Health Ministry said the attacks killed 14 people, including two women and two children, and wounded 37, marking the deadliest day since the ceasefire began.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed the military was “acting with force” based on rules agreed with the US and Lebanon, including “freedom of action” to respond to attacks and neutralize emerging threats.
Hezbollah rejected the accusations, saying their operations were a “legitimate response” to Israel’s invasion of the country.
At least 2,294 people have been killed and 7,544 injured, including 100 medics and health workers, since fighting began on March 2, according to cumulative tolls released by the Lebanese Ministry of Health.***
