BUTOLPOST United States President Donald Trump surprisingly announced a ceasefire with Iran for two weeks, amid escalating conflicts in the Middle East region.
Trump made this statement via the Truth Social platform, after communicating with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistan Army Chief of Staff Asim Munir.
Trump revealed that the decision to hold off on military attacks against Iran was taken on the condition that Tehran open full access to the Strait of Hormuz safely and immediately.
“This will be a two-way ceasefire,” Trump stressed.
