PR SOLO RAYA – Adi Soemarmo Airport (Airport) Boyolali Solo, has flown the first batch of Hajj Candidates (Calhaj) from the 2026 Hajj Embarkation with a total of 360 people from Tegal Regency on Wednesday, April 22 2026 in the morning at 02.28 WIB.
The flight uses a Garuda Indonesia Airbus Type Airbus A330-900 aircraft with Flight Number GIA 6101.
Suhari (55), a Hajj candidate from Tegal Regency who was part of the first group, was happy to be able to go this year, he said that 14 years of waiting had finally paid off.

“Thank God, today I can go to the holy land, I feel very happy, I hope my Hajj will be a prosperous Hajj,” said Suhari happily.
Meanwhile, General Manager of PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia Adi Soemarmo Airport Hery Purwanto explained that Adi Soemarmo Airport is ready to carry out 2026 Hajj Flight Operations for both Embarkation/departure Flights and Debarkation/return Flights.
Phase I of the Hajj Embarkation will take place from April 22 to May 21 2026 with the departure of 81 groups with a total of 29,121 Hajj pilgrims. And Phase II Debarkation/Arrival of Hajj Pilgrims will take place from June 22 to June 29 2026.

“To support Hajj Flight Operations, Adi Soemarmo Operational Hours will operate 24 hours through the issuance of a Notam for Hajj Flights. We have also ensured the readiness of facilities both at airside and landside to support the smooth operation of Hajj flights,” explained Hery.
Meanwhile, for aircraft fleet operations, Garuda Indonesia airline is supported by five reserve (standby) aircraft, namely Lion Air, San Marino and Air Asia.
Meanwhile, the Fast Track Makkah Route service by Saudi Arabian immigration at the International Departure Terminal has ensured its operational readiness, both in terms of facilities and infrastructure.

As for support for aviation security facilities at the Haji Donohudan Dormitory, Hery Purwanto prepared 2 cabin X-rays, 2 baggage X-rays, 3 walk through metal detectors (WTMD) and 3 hand-held metal detectors (HHMD). And to accommodate Hajj aircraft, five parking stands have been prepared, namely Parking Stands 6, 8, 10, 11A and 13A.
“Smooth Hajj Operational Services at Adi Soemarmo cannot be separated from coordination with agencies and stakeholders such as the Ministry of Religion, Region III Airport Authority, TNI, Immigration, Customs, Port Health Office, Gapura Angkasa, Garuda Indonesia and several other agencies,” he added.
Hery Purwanto added, 81 groups departing via Adi Soemarmo Airport came from Tegal Regency, Brebes Regency, Pemalang Regency, Pekalongan Regency, Batang Regency, Kendal Regency, Semarang City, Salatiga City, Grobogan Regency.
Demak Regency, Jepara Regency, Kudus Regency, Blora Regency, Rembang Regency, Pati Regency, Surakarta City, Wonogiri Regency, Boyolali Regency, Karanganyar Regency, Klaten Regency, Sragen Regency, Sukoharjo Regency, Purbalingga Regency, Banjarnegara Regency, Banyumas Regency, Cilacap Regency, and Magelang Regency.***
