KABAR-SUMEDANG.COM – Estonian Ambassador to Indonesia H. E Veikko Kala, admitted that he was amazed by the digital-based governance that has been successfully developed in Sumedang Regency.
According to the Estonian Ambassador, the Sumedang Regency Regional Government’s steps in developing this digital platform will definitely have a positive impact on society, especially in terms of public services.
This praise was expressed directly by Estonian Ambassador H. E Veikko Kala, during a visit to Sumedang Regency, together with the Deputy Head Off Mission of the Estonian Embassy in Singapore, some time ago.

H. E Veikko Kala said that Estonia and Sumedang Regency actually have many similarities. Apart from having the same population, Estonia and Sumedang have both succeeded in carrying out digital transformation.
And what is no less important, he said, is that Estonia and Sumedang Regency have collaborated in building a digital platform for services to the community.
“I am very happy to be able to visit Sumedang. The population of Estonia is exactly the same as Sumedang. I know that Sumedang is one of the leading local communities in Indonesia in terms of digital transformation. Just like Estonia is one of the leading digital governments in the world,” said the Estonian Ambassador to Indonesia.

H. E Veikko Kala hopes that the collaboration that has been built by the Sumedang Regency Government with the Estonian government (digital platform development) can really be a solution for improving services to the community.
Because after all, digital-based governance developed by the Sumedang Regency Government has been able to improve the quality of service to the community.
“That’s why we are very impressed with Sumedang Regency. Thanks to the digital platform that has been developed, government governance in Sumedang Regency now appears to be effective and transparent.
