PRFMNEWS – – The National Zakat Amil Institute (Laznas) DT Peduli distributed sacrificial meat aid to hundreds of Palestinian and Syrian refugee families residing in various refugee camps in Syria, Wednesday 27 May 2026.
This humanitarian action targets conflict survivors who are currently still living in dire conditions and experiencing food difficulties.
In this program, DT Peduli slaughtered 10 sheep and 1 cow. The process of slaughtering sacrificial animals is carried out in two strategic locations, namely at the Athma Slaughterhouse (RPH), Idlib, and the Duma area in Rif Damascus.

After being slaughtered, the sacrificial meat is immediately packed into DT Peduli distribution bags and sent using a humanitarian fleet.
Distribution was carried out evenly to several refugee points, including Deir Ballouth Camp in Idlib, Handarat Camp in Rif Idlib, Annairab Camp in Aleppo, as well as Yarmouk Camp, Khan Syih Camp, Jaramana Camp, and Esbena Camp in the Rif Damascus area. The total beneficiaries of this program reached approximately 460 refugee families.
To ensure that donors’ trust reaches the right hands, DT Peduli synergizes with the Indonesia-Syam Friendship Humanitarian Institute (PISY). PISY Trustee, KH. Zulkifli Ali, directly leads the distribution process in the Atma area, an area on the border of Syria and Türkiye.

“Thank God, we distributed the meat alms from Darut Tauhid, put it in his pockets. God willing, immediately after this we will deliver it to the mukhayamat, where our Palestinian refugee brothers are,” said KH. Zulkifli Ali at the distribution location.
He also expressed prayers and hopes that the deeds of sacrifice of sacrificers in Indonesia would be accepted by Allah SWT.
“Hopefully the deeds of our brothers and sisters who entrust their wealth through DT Peduli will receive multi-layered and many-fold rewards before Allah,” he added.
This assistance brings great happiness to the refugees. Due to the prolonged economic crisis, meat has become a luxury commodity that they can rarely enjoy. One of the beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude for the concern of the Indonesian people.

“Alhamdulillah, we are very grateful to receive this sacrificial meat. Our family has not enjoyed meat for a long time because of the limitations we face. This assistance not only fulfills our food needs, but also brings happiness in the midst of difficult conditions. We express our deepest gratitude to our brothers from Indonesia,” he said emotionally.
The distribution of qurban ended with the joy of the children in the refugee camp who simultaneously shouted the message, “I love Indonesia!”, as a form of appreciation for the concern that continues to flow from their homeland. ***
