JABAR PR – Supreme leader of Iran Mojtaba Khamenei reportedly suffered serious injuries after a military attack involving United States of America And Israel. His condition is said to be critical and he is undergoing intensive treatment amidst increasing regional tensions.

Serious Injuries Since the Beginning of the Attack

Mojtaba Khamenei is known to have been injured since the first day of the attack which occurred at the end of February. He reportedly suffered a broken leg, bruises over his left eye and lacerations to his face.

The injury occurred before he officially served as Iran’s supreme leader, succeeding his father. Since then, his condition has continued to attract the attention of various parties.

Under intensive care in Qom, critical issues emerged leading to coma

A number of reports stated that Mojtaba was undergoing treatment at Qom. In fact, news circulated from Western intelligence sources that said he was in critical condition.

Other speculation also emerged regarding the possibility that he was in a coma and was being treated behind closed doors for security reasons. Not only that, there was information circulating that he would be taken abroad to undergo surgery.

However, Iran immediately denied this news through diplomatic channels.

Statements from US and Israeli Officials Strengthen Allegations

Several officials from the United States also touched on Mojtaba’s condition. US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth mentioned the possibility that the Iranian leader might have been injured.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has also stated that Mojtaba is believed to be injured, although still alive under certain conditions.

The Israeli military also confirmed that the injury to Mojtaba’s leg occurred early in the conflict.

Iranian Government’s Denial of Critical Conditions

Amidst many reports circulating, the Iranian government emphasized that Mojtaba’s condition was not as reported by some Western media.

Authorities said he was still capable of carrying out his duties as supreme leader and had made an official statement to the public via state media.

This also refutes reports that said he was in critical condition or unconscious.

Promotion After Ali Khamenei’s Death

Mojtaba Khamenei elected as supreme leader of Iran after his death Ali Khamenei in previous military attacks.

The election was carried out by the Expert Council in early March, amidst an unstable political and security situation.

Iran’s Counter Threat to US Bases

In his first statement, Mojtaba emphasized that Iran would retaliate for the attack which killed many people.

He even said that all United States military bases in the Gulf region could potentially become targets if the conflict continues.

This statement further emphasizes the increasing tension between Iran, the United States and Israel.
