SalatigaLatest – The city of Kobe, Japan, is back in the spotlight after the disclosure of a criminal case that shocked the public.
A man named Nishiguchi Yutaka was found dead in a large freezer in the apartment.

This discovery began with reports from local residents who smelled an unpleasant odor from the residential area. After further examination, authorities found the body of the victim who was thought to have been dead since December 2011.
The results of the initial investigation show even more surprising facts. The victim’s body was found cut into two parts and stored in a freezer for years without the public knowing.
Police suspect that the body had been in the freezer since around 2012 until it was finally found in June 2026.
In the latest development, the police arrested a 50 year old woman named Mochizuki Akiwho is the victim’s wife.

During questioning, the suspect admitted his actions and expressed deep regret for his actions. He said:
“I’ve done a very bad thing, so I don’t have any defense.”
This statement has now become part of the main investigation by the authorities in uncovering the motive behind storing the body.
Even though the suspect has admitted his involvement in storing the body, the Japanese police have not concluded the cause of the victim’s death.

Currently, the investigation is focused on the possibility of a murderous element behind Nishiguchi Yutaka’s death, including how the incident occurred and what the real motive is.
