LEBAK PORTAL – The President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced that there would be a ceasefire with Iran that would last for two weeks from both sides and stated that the Strait of Hormuz would soon be reopened.
“After negotiating with the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, and the Chief of Staff of the Pakistani Army, Marshal Asim Munir, who requested that I withhold naval shipments to Iran on the condition that the Islamic Republic of Iran agree to the safe and complete opening of the Strait of Hormuz,” Trump quoted via the Truth Social platform.
“I agree to stop attacks and bombings against Iran for two weeks. This will be a ceasefire from both sides,” he added.

Furthermore, Trump explained that the decision to agree to this ceasefire was taken because the United States had achieved and even exceeded all military targets in the conflict with Iran.
