Garut PR- Geopolitical tensions in the Middle East have entered a new and increasingly heated phase. On Wednesday (8/4/2026), Iran took firm steps by temporarily stopping oil tanker traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, a vital route that is the lifeblood of world energy distribution. This decision came as a direct reaction to Israel’s military incursion into Lebanese territory, which Tehran considered a serious violation of the ceasefire agreement.

Since early morning, Israeli air strikes have reportedly hit a number of points in Lebanon, triggering the anger of the Iranian government. Tehran called the action a form of “crime” that could not be left without a response. A top Iranian official, in a statement to Al Jazeera, emphasized that his country was ready to take further steps.

“Instead of restraining itself, Israel launched a major attack since early morning. This is a clear violation,” said the source.
